Sediment Filters
Sediment filters capture particles such as sand, rust and other suspended material. They are often the first protection stage for valves, appliances and water-treatment equipment.
Selection and operation
The choice of micron rating and filter area should balance particle retention with pressure loss and service life. A sediment filter does not remove dissolved hardness or salts. Filter changes are guided by pressure loss, water conditions and the element manufacturer's instructions.
What to check before selecting a system
- Select nominal or absolute ratings to suit the application.
- Confirm housing pressure and temperature limits.
- Provide isolation valves and safe replacement access.
Plan for ongoing service
Keep equipment model details, operating readings and maintenance records available. Review any change in source-water quality or demand before changing the operating settings or replacing components.
Discuss your water treatment requirements
Tell us your location, water source, required flow and intended application. A recent water analysis and equipment details help us assess the next step.
