Bag Filtration Systems
Bag filters retain suspended particles in a removable filter bag supported inside a housing. They can be useful where a comparatively large solids-holding area and convenient changeout are needed.
Selection and operation
Bag size, media, retention rating and sealing arrangement all affect the result. Selection should consider both normal flow and the pressure increase as the bag loads. Filtration bags are not a substitute for dissolved-salt treatment or a validated disinfection stage.

- Check bag and seal compatibility with the liquid.
- Plan safe depressurisation before changing bags.
